Role: Android Developer Location: Hybrid-Dublin Contract: Perm Our client is looking for Android Developers to design and build advanced applications for the Android platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. You will have the luxury or working with outside data sources and APIs, implementing unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Whilst working on bug fixing and improving application performance you will also continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Essential: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject - Proven software development experience and Android skills development between 4 to 6 years - Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app - Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs - Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. - Proficient understanding of Android Studio and code versioning tools (like GIT.) - Experience with automating build processes (continuous integration), Unit testing, source code analysis tools - Experience of working in an agile environment - Work experience on tools/technologies like Kotlin, Java, MVP, MVVm, VOPER, RESTful APIs Minorities, women, LGBTQ+ candidates, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
