The Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications has responsibility for policy and programmes across a number of areas of national strategic importance, encompassing telecommunications including the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and cyber security policy.
The NCSC acts as a central contact point in the event of a government or nation-wide cyber security incident affecting the State. It also coordinates and supports the response to significant incidents.
The NCSC has vacancies for Cyber Security Specialists to fulfil key roles within the three Directorates of the NCSC:

· Engineering/Technology

Successful candidates must have a relevant qualification at minimum level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and at least 3 years’ experience in the area.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 3pm on Thursday 18th May 2023.
