We have an excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Administrator to join a friendly dynamic team in a well-established Worldwide Organisation. This position is based in Dublin City Centre and you will be reporting directly to the Senior Technical Architect and Infrastructure Team Manager. You will primarily be dealing with the Microsoft Stack with your main focus on Monitoring and responding to potential issues on our vast Infrastructure Network, responding to escalated Support Calls from the Helpdesk but also getting involved with exciting on-prem and cloud based Projects. You will be security focused at all times.
This is an exciting role for someone seeking to enhance their existing skillset with a view to eventually progressing into a more projects based sphere with our Senior Engineers, offering ample opportunity for participation and leading roles in on-going Projects (Migrations, Upgrades, New Installations, On Premise and Cloud Infrastructure etc).
The Engineer must have a background in some of the below Solutions, they include but are not limited to the following;
· Windows 2012 to 2019. All Roles and Features.
· Office 365, Azure and Intune
· Active Directory to include RODCs
· Exchange 2013 or 2016, DAG Technologies and Exchange Online
· SQL 2012 or newer, including Availability Groups
· All aspects of Hyper-V
· Clustering – all types
· Dell Servers and SAN Technologies
· Networking
· Windows10
· Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
· Commvault
· SCOM and Solarwinds
· Citrix
· Certificate Services
· VMware
· Linux
Position is Full Time 9:15 to 17:30 Monday to Friday. Any and all Overtime is fully paid. Pension and Health benefits available.
Option to ‘Work from Home’ or remote working if you so choose from Ireland. However, we do ask that you can attend the Office once a week on an agreed day. There may be times where we all need to go onsite, such is the nature of IT!
Extend your holiday with an option to work from abroad for 2 weeks.
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position and hold relevant qualifications. You will be self-motivated and ambitious with a strong technical acumen. You will be a strong team player with the ability to take charge of a situation, think on your feet and be decisive and proactive in all that you do. You will be Customer Service focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
MCP, MCTS, MCSA, MCSE or equivalent qualifications a distinct advantage.
