Database Engineer (SQL/ NoSQL) – Contract is required for a global financial services company based in South Dublin. This is an initial 6-month day rate contract paying up to €550 / day for the right person.

This can be a fully remote role from anywhere in Ireland
 
Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing data workflow solutions using NoSQL and SQL based data stores to help solve complex business problems
- Work closely with business users, business analysts and development colleagues to create best in class risk management solutions

 
Requirements:

- Experience building complex data workflow solutions that encompass different technology components
- Comprehensive knowledge of NoSQL solutions – preferably with MongoDB and Redis
- Relational database/SQL experience
- Strong practical data modelling and data workflow design skills
- Cloud native application design experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
