Front End Web Developer Ref: VAC-13278 Full-Time Position Permanent Hybrid / Letterkenny Salary/Remuneration Competitive DOE Our client is a very successful travel company working in a niche industry who have a 1st class reputation founded on professionalism, high levels of client relations and the quality of their products and service. The Company currently provides bespoke and specialised packages to discerning customers from all over the world. Key Responsibilities You will be working in a small IT team, assigned to individual tasks or projects to build on and expand our customer focused websites. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will take responsibility for the design, coding and testing of new features to be added to our websites, including integration of third-party applications and APIs. You will have a good eye for design and an understanding of modern web design with the aim to deliver website functionality that provides the best customer experience on mobile and desktop devices. Knowledge and skills required: • Minimum 2-years experience in Web Design across mobile and desktop devices. • HTML/CSS • JavaScript (or JavaScript based framework) • Understand basic concepts of SQL. • Excellent communications skills. • Attention to detail. • Understanding of the software lifecycle and ability to manage your tasks to completion within the wider context of a programme for change. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Knowledge of PHP a distinct advantage. • Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage.
