L2 Support Engineer Type: Contract Day Rate: Competitive Location: Dublin As an L2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our client, resolving issues, and ensuring that all queries are handled in a timely and professional manner. You will be expected to work closely with the L1 support team and escalate issues to L3 support where necessary. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to our client via phone, email, and remote desktop tools Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues Escalate issues to L3 support where necessary Monitor and manage support tickets in our ticketing system Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve bugs and issues Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles Provide training and support to L1 support engineers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 2+ years of experience in a similar technical support role Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are interested in this role or would like to discuss one of our other IT Support roles available please contact Jamie McCaul at Reperio Human Capital.
