itContracting are seeking an Engineering Manager for our client based in Carlow.
The Opportunity
- We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead an Agile team and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in technical team leadership, people management or scrum team leadership with a strong passion for technology. This opportunity has extensive growth plans with scope to develop and scale a best-in-class digital transformation project.
The Role
- Lead & manage an Agile team of software engineers, testers & business analysts (working with technologies such as .Net, Salesforce, CRM, Xamarin, MuleSoft, JAVA)
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions
- Drive the team's adherence to Agile development methodologies
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Mentor and guide the development team, promoting a culture of excellence
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering
- Partner with the product management & Design teams to align on business requirements
What You Offer
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering environment
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing Agile software development projects
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent leadership, technical project management, and mentorship skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
