We're currently recruiting a Business Analyst who will work with our IT Director to ensure all IT projects are planned, resourced, managed, and delivered successfully. This is a contract role which will run over a duration of 18 months. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of all major IT related projects in Glenveagh. The IT team, in general work as a facilitator between selected vendors and key internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully. Having a good technical background and a solid understanding of the IT standards within the business is essential. Key Responsibilities Build and develop relationships with key internal stakeholders to gain an understanding of how IT can assist them in the delivery of their service to the business Gain an understanding of the IT requirements across all areas of the business Assist in developing a consistent approach to IT project delivery Development of a best-in-class IT project service to the business Management on the various projects from inception through to completion Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the wider business, IT colleagues and suppliers, with the ability to resolve issues as they arise Management on the day-to-day operations of a project that would include communication, planning and organizing Balancing the business needs with technical aspects. Negotiate solutions and drive creativity where possible Responsibility for the management of risks and issues of critical nature Act as the first point of contact for escalation on the project(s) Assist in the ongoing development and delivery of the IT service, which includes projects, ensuring the business and all its associated data is protected and secure at all times Requirements Experience working in IT project delivery or IT management Experience managing multiple projects at any given time. Must be able to multitask, delegate and prioritize. Must have excellent decision-making ability and be assertive when needed.
