Senior Facilities Contract Manager Location Cork The Role Reporting to the Director for Facilities Services you will have Responsibility for the management of Multi-disciplined contract operations and all associated activities, including budgeting, services delivery, client management, financial management and after sales services. Responsible for supporting the Director of Facilities, in making recommendations and delivering results in the areas on facility planning, capital budget planning and management, and long-range project development consistent with a variety of comprehensive, financial, strategic, and operation plans. Therefore, the Contract Manager must deliver operational planning for long term facility planning and individual capital projects. This position must be capable of capital planning and development, have high competency in financial planning and management, be capable of managing multiple programmes and staff, and have the ability to manage capital projects. Responsibilities Operations: Management of the Multi-disciplined contract operations & assigned key accounts. Management of key client relationships Management reporting to Director level in Ireland Management and organisation of multi skilled FM and Technical projects to strict deadlines Negotiation and pricing of key contracts Support the bidding team in bid preparation and tender submissions. Manage team of Managers and oversee site facility managers Liaise with Managers in setting up new client Service Level Agreements Overall responsibility to ensure all FM service level agreements are achieve Identify, develop and implement policies and procedures and terms and conditions as required by the business both internally and externally Ensure compliance of ISO standards across FM Operation Compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and all other company legislation Finance: Full P&L responsibility for contract operations and assigned contracts Preparation of annual and long-term budgets Monthly reports to Commercial Manager on project performance Overall responsibility for pricing of projects and quotation for tenders Identify opportunities for cost reduction within the Business Business Development: Proactively develop and grow the facility management operation in Munster. Identify opportunities within the existing client base. Deliver on challenging sales and performance targets Participate in marketing promotions Human Resources: Leading and motivating the Team by setting team direction. Ensuring effective communication throughout teams and offering support when needed. Setting and influencing operational culture in line with company values. Ensuring annual performance reviews are conducted within the division. Liaising with HR function in addressing any HR matters. Involvement in Recruitment and Selection process on occasions. Drive training and development needs for the FM Operation The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following; Client Relationship Management Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills Strong Financial competency in all aspects of business management Ability to lead successful facility management teams Effective solutions to complex situations Commercial Awareness Business Partnering internal and external Ability to manage and develop a multi skilled workforce Results-oriented with strong KPI focus Presentation skills at Parent, Board and Operational levels Diplomacy Strong business acumen and numerical ability Previous successful project management skills Flexible approach to meeting deadlines Willing to travel Competent at delivering presentations to Senior Management and clients Requirements Bachelors and/or Masters' Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or Architectural degree from an accredited college or university. Documented training in applicable building and life safety codes, emergency management of Pharma, healthcare facilities, public health, strategic planning, financial planning and management, human resource management and supervision 10 years progressively responsible experience in strategic and facility planning and management, including construction management experience and knowledge of plant operations; 5 Years in a technical field; and four years supervisory experience, one of which must be in maintenance programs. 5 years' experience planning and management of capital and operational budgets. Documented experience in compliance with accreditation standards such as ISO9001, ISO18001 and OHSAS 14001. Documented experience in environmental policy and practice. Professional affiliation with the IPFMA / BIFM / Engineers Ireland Minimum 7 years' experience in Pharma and Facility Management industry or construction/service/engineering sector.
