I am seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer/Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing software for embedded intrusion and access control systems, as well as developing code in C-language, testing, and debugging system software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded product features
- Work with QA to analyze, debug and implement solutions
- Collaborate with hardware design and development team
- Review code and design
- Assist with product deployment in production
- Create technical documentation for firmware
- Stay current with relevant technologies for product design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in firmware development, including programming in C-language.
- Knowledge microprocessor research and design, and experience with 32-bit microprocessors or ARM design
- Experience with RTOS, source code control, and JTAG debugging
- Strong programming skills in C-language and understanding of microprocessor schematics
