Microsoft 365 Specialist

Location: Onsite with our client in Cork City
Payroll or Long-Term Contract
 
 
Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

- Experience with Office 365, Exchange Hybrid Configuration, SharePoint, Teams, as well as other Office 365 applications
- Experience with Security and Compliance suite
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
- Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders (end users, developers, business units, etc)
- Scripting and coding skills with PowerShell.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 configuration and support, Exchange Online Protection, External DNS record configuration (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC), and Powershell for automation, maintenance, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft’s Advanced Threat Services and Compliance
- Providing technical expertise on Office 365 applications: Teams, SharePoint Online, Azure, OneDrive, and PowerB
- Proficiency to design and implement solutions using the Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) & Forms
- Proficiency to design and implement solutions in M365 using collaboration tools such as Teams, Planner, Stream, Yammer, Sway, OneDrive, Lists, Bookings etc.
- Knowledge in Azure Connect and Azure Architecture
- Ability to implement MFA, SSO and integrations with third-party systems
- Experience and capacity to setup and configure Intune to replace Group Policy and to ensure devices are enrolled and managed

- Manage access and authentication
- Plan Office 365 workloads and applications
- Implement modern device services
- Implement Microsoft 365 security and threat management
- Manage Microsoft 365 governance and compliance
- Implement and maintain a best practice security posture across 365 Stack including Sentinel
- Maximise reporting and monitoring capacity
- Implement an effective license estate across different profiles
- Manage integrations with other systems
- Deliver a 365-development roadmap to meet business requirements
- Plan and deliver an effective transition to Teams Telephony and call routing via Third Party Providers

 
 
Qualification: You should hold some of the following qualifications or equivalents:

- Relevant Certificate or undergraduate Degree in ICT or Engineering.

- Microsoft 365 Certified in some of the following:

- Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Security Administrator Associate
- Messaging Administrator Associate
- Teams Administrator Associate
- Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365: Fundamentals

- Microsoft 365 Certified in the one of the following would be advantageous:

- Microsoft 365 Identity and Services
- Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security

 
 
Transport: You will be based in our client’s main office in Cork City. Occasional travel may be required during off peak support times so a full driving license/transport is required. You must have your own transport, motor insurances and full clean driving licence for travel to other client sites in Cork.
 
English Language Proficiency:   You must be fluent in the English language. A capacity to communicate in Irish would be advantageous
