Senior IT Systems Administrator required for leading Kildare based client.
The Senior IT Systems Administrator will join our client’s existing IT Operations team who are responsible for ensuring the highest level of systems performance and availability in a 24 x 7 environment including datacentre, Cloud (Azure), hardware / software upgrades, data and network security.
You will also provide key input to the overall design and ongoing operation of existing infrastructure, designing and implementing capacity management, IT service continuity planning and availability planning.
The Senior IT Systems Administrator will:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide Systems Management & Support (MS Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere)
• Monitor System Performance and provide security administration
• Perform Hardware and Software upgrades, often complex in nature
• Perform desktop and applications management with Microsoft SCCM
• Suggest, design, implement and deploy new technologies to help achieve business goals
• Review audit and continuously improve IT protocols to enhance systems efficiency and effectiveness
• Work closely with end users and 3rd Party suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A 3rd Level IT Qualification
• 6+ Years’ IT Systems Administration experience (Enterprise Level)
• Good Azure Infrastructure experience (Azure AD, Azure Virtual Desktops)
• Strong VMware experience
• Strong Office 365 experience
• Good desktop and applications management experience
• Experience working within control methodologies such as ITIL
• MS Server, Azure and/or VMware Certification
• Work with key stakeholders, internally and externally
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
