Senior Major Incident Lead Contract 11 Months Ireland. My client a leading name in their market is in urgent need of talented and experienced Senior Major Incident Lead to join their team on a contract basis. The role is high energy, high engagement with high visibility to global teams, technologies, and leadership. It provides an exceptional opportunity to obtain a full appreciation, insight and understanding of global systems, operations and processes across a global enterprise. This position offers frequent interaction with and visibility from Senior Executive IT will be required to aggressively drive Major Incidents to resolution in the most efficient manner possible. You will work with cross-functional teams, globally, and across cultural boundaries. Act as designated lead process owner as commander of a Major Incident. You will hold individual and teams of problem solvers to task on simultaneous technical workstreams with strict, extremely short deadlines. You will apply business impact analysis techniques to evaluate impact of high severity problems and/or potential impact of proposed changes. You will assist support teams in translating technical impact to business impact and align on priority based on the realised and potential business impact. You will constantly seek clarification and current resolution status and actions plan(s) to ensure accurate and concise communications. Successful candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Candidates will have strong IT technical background across multiple disciplines. Ability to communicate complex technical information to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical Command, negotiation, problem-solving, influencing and relationship management skills. Ability to summarise complex technical incidents to an executive level summary in real- to work multi-threaded within extremely tight time constraints. Excellent ability to manage multiple high priority efforts/ competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
