The IT Operations Analyst will report to the IT Manager. The role is an all rounder role which isnt limited to IT knowledge but has to have a great organizational mindset to collaborate with their IT skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Looking after Software Releases for internal and external systems. Collaborating with the business regarding service availability, new services, change to services or specific business problems. The continuation of looking after IT Operations Process and Procedures documentation. Monitoring System and Batch orders which will include checking, debugging, starting,stopping and re-running Unix, DOS, Oracle PL SQL, PowerShell, and Oracle SQL Loader scripting& script management. Fixing bugs within the problem services. Manage the creation of the regulatory documentation and overlook the print and dispatch counts of the same in conjunction with the Business and Facilities Operations. Provision of out-of-hours cover to support releases, failovers, BankHolidays, etc. The right person will have: Strong administrative and organizational skills A very high level of accuracy and attention to detail is mandatory. Commitment to high standards in administration and execution of operational tasks is essential. A drive to deliver results and respond resourcefully to opportunities and challenges through dedication, dependability and the taking of prompt action. Ability to organize and plan to efficiently achieve goals Identify and analyze issues/problems, develop solutions and use judgement to make sound and dependable decisions. Strong oral and written communication skills A foundational knowledge and understanding of IT platforms. An analytical ability with an innovative approach to problem solving and a creative mind-set towards the use of technology.
