The Civil Service is now recruiting ICT Applications/ Digital Solutions Managers at Assistant Principal Officer level. The ICT Applications/ Digital Solutions Manager is a managerial role which offers you the opportunity to develop your senior-level digital and ICT career while working in some of the largest organisations in the State.
Many of the candidates who were successful in recent campaigns are now integral to and leaders of teams who have delivered critical projects of national importance and public prominence and were instrumental in the Government’s response to the pandemic. Projects delivered by ICT/ Digital teams across the Civil Service support a range of digital services and some of the more recent public-facing developments include the COVID Tracker App, Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP), the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS), Digital Covid Certificate and Passport and Driver Licence Online, to mention but a few.
A panel will be formed from this competition to fill Assistant Principal-level ICT Applications/ Digital Solutions Manager vacancies across Civil Service organisations such as government departments and offices such as the Revenue Commissioners and Civil Service roles in An Garda Síochána.
