The Office of the Chief Information Officer is recruiting a Head of Project Management Office (PMO) at Assistant Principal Higher level. In addition to heading up the PMO and leading best practice in project and programme delivery, this role will also play an active role in the adoption of standardised approach to the management and delivery of projects, programmes and portfolios across government.
The OGCIO, a division with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, has the leadership role for the digital agenda across Government. It works in collaboration with organisations across the Civil and Public Service to drive digital transformation of public services as well as leading on a range of digital strategies and EU Regulations.
The Head of PMO will lead the team and be responsible for fostering best practice in project, programme and portfolio management by the OGCIO, implementing relevant structures, methodologies and project governance models.
The successful candidate will have relevant project/ programme management related industry certification(s) and at least 5 years directly relevant, recent experience in a project/ programme/ PMO management role involving digital transformation and ICT projects.
