What you'll be doing...
You will be responsible for engineering and maintaining features and components across our backend systems and web / mobile application stack, in support of our award winning SAAS Fleet Management products, Reveal & Fleet. You'll work as part of a cross-functional squad of software engineers, UX designers, QA engineers, and product owners, using methodologies to design applications that help our customers achieve good outcomes, and use feedback from these customers to extend and improve these applications.
Participating in product feature implementation, both independently and in cooperation with your team.
Implementing changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient and reusable code.
Working with product stakeholders and other teams in the organization to complete the projects on time.
Participating in peer code reviews, manage criteria applied during code reviews.
Investigating technical issues during the full development lifecycle, including specific components in production.
Providing with estimations for individual and team assignments.
Working with solution architects to define detailed specifications for technical solutions.
Helping to shape the team's culture and work rhythm.
Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
Experience in software development.
Knowledge of and experience with sound design principles, engineering best practices, and Agile development methodologies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in developing scalable micro-service architectures.
Knowledge of caching frameworks (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and messaging frameworks (e.g., Kinesis, RabbitMQ).
Knowledge of the .Net ecosystem (Framework and Core).
Experience with GIT or other revision control system.
Experience working with relational (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., Redis, Dynamo) databases.
Experience in Angular and TypeScript.
Experience with low level data structure and algorithm design.
Knowledge of Mobile Development (iOS or Android).
Experience in TDD and/or BDD.
Experience in ELK Stack.
