My client is a multinational biotechnology company. They are looking for talented individuals to join their growing teams in Ireland. My client is offering an attractive salary dependent on experience. You will be have between 2-6 years of experience working in Lab based environments with some focus on IT compliance. Experience working as a Chemist or Scientist, with an interest in IT systems would also be beneficial. You will have some knowledge of GOP and Lab regulations and experience with SOPs. Role Description: To implement, monitor, and provide technical support of customer laboratory IT environments, typically integrated with instrumentation Implementing customer specified bench top computing design and processes Performing schedule routine preventative maintenance in accordance with the customers procedures and schedules Supporting ticket based requests for IT specific tasks in a timely manner Analysing, identifying, and implementing enhancements, upgrades and/or solutions to improve the overall support of the desktop platform in a timely manner Ensuring adherence to client's corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs To act as the technical support contact for instrument vendor Providing technical support for new system validations and change management efforts Submitting reports to the team lead as required Acting as client Liaison for software/hardware related inquiries Participating in client team meetings Role Requirements: 2+ years of relevant Lab system support experience in a GxP environment Experience with scientific instrumentation and documentation is preferred Focus on attention to details Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects under prescribed time frames Knowledge of laboratory safety practices is preferredThis role is a 12 month fixed term contract with a high probability of an annual extension. The salary is between €50,000 and €60,000. The role is based in Limerick and would require the successful candidate to work on site.
