The Position We are seeking a team-spirited and dedicated Azure Security Specialist who will be an integral part of our success story by collaborating with clients and organizational stakeholders to secure information technology systems for the organization and helping us with day-to-day cyber security tasks, reducing organizational risk by rapidly remediating active attacks in our IT environment, advising on improvements to threat protection practices, and referring violations of organizational policies to appropriate stakeholders. Responsibilities Daily monitoring of existing Azure security tools such as identity management, endpoint management and cloud apps management. Review and follow-up of level 2 alerts and escalation of more complex alerts Identification of gaps that are causing reoccurring issues and advise on procedures or tools to solve them. Participate in incident response by providing requested data and investigating additional leads. Maintain solid knowledge of cyber security issues via RSS feeds, security blogs, and podcasts. Increase/Maintain knowledge of security disciplines through on-the-job training and online security courses with the preference of obtaining certificates. Determine the impact of current threats to our security posture. Maintain up-to-date baselines for the secure configuration and operations of all in-place devices, whether they be under direct control (i.e. security tools) or not (i.e. workstations, servers, network devices, etc.). Experience & Qualifications Microsoft Security Certifications Associate/bachelor s degrees and security certifications will be given preference Key Requirements Proven ability in mitigating and preventing risk to information security. Deep understanding of information security and keeps up to date with the latest and emerging cybersecurity threats. Ability to translate information security risks for technical and non-technical audiences. Stakeholder & relationship management across multiple business units. Experience in implementation of information security governance and risk management strategies. Excellent communication skills with an ability to deal with all levels in a confident, persuasive and professional manner. Capability to work independently or as part of a team, be a self-starter and have strong initiative. Building relationships and working closely with business units to get IS measures implemented. Ability to manage multiple tasks according to priorities, be results-oriented and have a proven ability to meet deadlines. Must have a very flexible approach to work and be confident working in a fast moving, exciting environment. Excellent attention to detail required Relevant third level qualification or professional equivalent (CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP or similar)
