We have an opportunity for an IT Technician to join a growing start-up technology company. The role will be providing both remote and on-site support to a broad range of technologies. The company is committed to supporting the training and development of each member of their team. Responsibilities: troubleshooting and fixing hardware, software, network and internet connectively. Maintaining customer standards and installations specifications and advising the client of potential problems and how to prevent them; Training customers as required; Ensuring that tickets stay within agreed SLA s. Setup and support of IT & Network Hardware, computer peripherals, including printers, scanners and USB devices etc.; Cyber Security Maintaining technical documentation in relation to standards; Deliveries and onsite support to clients as and when required by the business. Experience Required: 1 years experience in a similar IT Support / Helpdesk Role. Robust troubleshooting and strong analytical skills. IP Networking (Firewalls / Routers, Wireless Networks, Managed Switches) Office 365 Setup & Administration Server and networking remote/on-site support - Carry out designated tasks, resolve problems and queries from clients. Inventory and asset management of IT equipment as well as IT lifecycle. Must be thoroughly comfortable with Windows operating systems and their operation. Remote Desktop Technologies Microsoft Server Technologies - (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WDS) Knowledge of (Desirable): Ticketing Systems Competency with Basic Automation & Scripting Virtualisation Technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V etc.) VoIP Telephony Firewalls Apple Mac OS A full Irish driving licence is required as a company vehicle will be provided. To be considered for this position applicants must be eligible to work and reside in Ireland (holder of an EC Passport or a Current Stamp 4 Visa)
