Our client, a significant financial service business is expanding its operations here in Dublin is looking an ambitious and talented Oracle DBA to join the technology team. This is a Hybrid role working in Dublin City Centre

Responsibilities

·             This role will be primarily focused on production database administration for Oracle and secondary support in MySQL and Mongodb

·             Work closely with other DBAs on the team and various development groups in productionizing and optimizing applications

·             Install, monitor, and maintain Oracle software, implement monitoring and alerting, implement backup and recovery processes

·             Oracle database optimization and tuning

·             Automation of database tasks

Qualifications/Skills Required

·             3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA / Engineer

·             Automation scripting skills (in Python preferably)

·             Quick learner, detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work.

·             Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.

·             Be available for Saturday work (1 weekend in 4)
