Data Engineer

We are working closely with one of the world's most respected financial organisations with their immediate plans to expand their data engineering team in Limerick. My client is shifting their strategic focus towards improving reporting and data analytics capability and they have big hiring plans in this space

You will have an opportunity to contribute to their development through analysis, design, implementation and delivery of industry leading big data and data warehousing solutions. The solution will be developed using Azure's Cloud services and the ideal candidate should have hands on experience of using Azure Data Platform.

You will have the responsibility for leading and delivering innovative data solutions using the latest services from Azure eco-system. You will also have plenty of interaction with external and internal stakeholders and have the opportunity to progress through their business.

What you need:

* 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering
* Strong ETL experience using Azure Data Factory
* Experience with Data Warehouse Design & SQL Server
* Azure Data Lake & Synapse experience very desirable
* Understanding of Power BI & DAX
* Experience with CI/CD & source control
* Background in Fin-tech very desirable
