My client, a global bank with an excellent track record of extensions, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team on a long-term greenfield project.

You will gain the opportunity to develop an exciting enterprise application as part of an exciting greenfield project whilst being a paid a lucrative rate of €550-600 (DOE). My client are based in South Dublin and are offering flexible hybrid working, and the opportunity to further your career by becoming a technical lead in the future.

This is an initial 12 Month contract that is likely to roll for 3+ years.

Responsibilities include:

* Write and design high quality effective code
* Engage with clients, business users and team members to understand and implement software requirements
* Contribute to innovative ideas and solutions
* Develop, maintain, and improve software

To be successful, you need:

* 5+ years' Development experience
* Strong Java and Spring experience
* Experience with Springboot, Microservices, API Gateways
* Good understanding of REST Architectures
* Elasticsearch and Hazelcast experience desired.
