Graduate Software Developer - Hybrid - Belfast. Salary up to £24,000
You've an opportunity to join a leading utilities provider for the entire island of Ireland. This company supplies hundreds of thousands of homes and business across the Island. You will join a growing team of developers within the companies Technology and Innovation department, as a graduate developer. Your new role will involve responsibility for developing new IT functionality for key business applications.
You will work collaboratively as part of a close knit team and gain valuable commercial experience and coaching throughout. Your day-to-day job will involve using modern software development toolsets such as Azure DevOps, continuous integration, and delivery. You will be involved in full SDLC from a very early stage of your career! Working closely with other multi-disciplined teams you gain knowledge and experience across a variety of areas. You will also be involved in identifying and developing fixes for defects in production systems and producing workarounds.
This role is perfect for a highly ambitious, goal setter and adaptable person who enjoys learning and challenging themselves.
What you need
Minimum 2:1 Honours degree in Computer Science or related course
Some development experience with Object-Oriented Programming
Ability to problem solve, demonstrate analytical skills and programming
Completed an industrial placement year
