Your new role In this role, you will be working under the Senior Network Security Engineer, and assisting in the security of the company's Telecoms network. You will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Firewall, IPS and network security systems. You will also help to build safe and secure cyber connections both internally and with third party companies. This role will also see you assisting with the setup of VPN's and employing remote access through those VPN's for technologies such as Cisco, Checkpoint and Palo Alto. You will be part of a platform where you can voice your ideas for change and improvement, being an active part of company change and innovation What you'll need to succeed The Ideal Candidate will have a 3rd level qualification or higher (HND, HNC, Degree) within an IT related subject, such as Computer Science. You will also have previously worked within network and security infrastructure maintenance and gained a certification in Information Security, such as CCSA, CCNA, PCNSA or CISSP. To perfectly suit this role, you should also have a strong TCP/IP knowledge, coupled with a decent knowledge of managing and trouble shooting firewalls, backed up with solid experience.
