PFH Technology Group is seeking an IT Support Engineer to be based onsite with their client in Wexford. The IT On Site Support will through a proactive approach provide internal customers with technical IT support in order to enable employees to operate more effectively and efficiently
Duties Include:
Provide technical support to internal customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Performs hands-on technical support at the desktop level, including building/deploying new workstations, installing and upgrading hardware and software, the configuring systems and applications.
Ensure that written responses are accurate, professional, clear and concise.
Updating helpdesk documentation so that support information is available and current for each customer
Testing and fixing faulty equipment
PC builds and installations
Execute any activities assigned
Ensure detailed documentation is produced and maintained up to date at all times.
Maintain asset inventory up to date at all times.

Ensure that regular daily responsibilities are completed on time
Ensure confidentiality of the information provided by customer (i.e. user name, password, others)
Ensure positive relationships are built and maintained with all involved parties (business, team, suppliers).
Skills Required:
Previous experience in an IT Environment
Knowledge of Microsoft and Windows
Excellent customer service skills with an ability to empathise with users and help them adapt to their new technologies. User experience is key.
Demonstrate good problem solving, analytical and decision making skills
