Our Limerick City based client are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their support team as an IT Service Desk Supervisor. The service they provide has a very client centric approach and they are looking for an engineer who can help to maintain this culture through a leadership through example approach.

This position will report directly to the Head of IT and is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to further their career with a growing company.
Responsibilities of this position:
Resolution of technical support tickets.
Act as an escalation point for all Service Desk issues.
Manage the ticket queue and work within SLA s.
Daily client communications.
Daily tasks specific to client site.
Upkeep and maintenance of client specific documentation.
Identify and recommend improvements and solutions.
Recognise trends on customer issues.
Build reports for Head of IT on a weekly basis.
Identify improvements on service desk processes.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 1-3 years working in a similar environment.
3rd Level Diploma/Degree would be beneficial/advantageous
Working knowledge of Microsoft portfolio
Knowledge of fundamental networking principals.
(Desirable) Proven track record of learning with industry led certifications. E.g. CompTIA, MCSA, CCNA.
