Software QA - Test Engineer (automation testing)

Software Quality Assurance Analyst / Automation test engineer required by software development group to implement automated test solutions to deliver testing efficiencies for systems, products and services. This role will include the design, build, test and deployment of effective test automation solutions. The Automation QA specialist will work closely with the manual test team identify areas of the test plan that lends itself to automation and apply / write the automation scripts to meet the goals of the QA division.

You will also be engaged in identifying test strategies and test cases that are suitable for automation, design and code the automated test scripts & implement automated test strategies within QA & build engineering to improve software product & platform quality.

As these roles are dedicated Automation Tester roles within software development companies, you MUST have strong experience in writing core Java, Java automated scripts for REST API's and ideally also webservices.

You must have the following skills:

* Extensive experience in a software automation testing role
* Software Development & Testing Lifecycle expertise
* Automation testing and scripting in performance, functional & regression testing
* Core Java for automating webservices ideally
* Experience using test tools such as Selenium, Rational, Groovy, JMeter, QTP or similar
* Knowledge of software technology platforms and associated frameworks & test tools
* Programming - Java preferably
* REST / API testing, API, interface testing, functional and non-functional Testing

Salary: €DOE
