C/C++ Developer Cork 12 Month rolling contract (Hybrid)
Daily rate contract: €325-375p/d
Job Description:
This position requires an excellent team player with good communication skills who clearly demonstrates a passion for delivering software of uncompromising quality to customers. The successful candidate will frequently be required to work on a cross-functional level with other company facilities. This position requires the design and development of software for real time embedded equipment.
Essential Skills Required:
* Experienced in C/C++ development
* Embedded systems development experience
* Solid problem solving and analytical skills
* Proficient with the use of SQL
* Highly skilled in GUI would be advantageous
* Self-motivated, results oriented with the ability to deliver the highest-quality software using industry best-practice methodologies
* Team-oriented attitude
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
The following skills are not essential, but desirable:
* Cross-platform development using a range of IDE's
* Proficient with IAR EWARM, CodeWarrior or similar
* Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or similar
* Knowledge of GUI development
* Knowledge of internet protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP
* Experience integrating with web services
* Demonstrated knowledge of test driven development, unit testing/refactoring
* Experience working with source control systems
Educational Experience Requirements
* Degree in Software Development or an equivalent discipline
* 3-5 years' experience in software development
