As they embark on an ambitious retail transformation programme a well known Irish retailer is looking to bolster their internal tech team by creating a role for a new Support Engineer to join their team.
As IT Support Engineer your role will be to liaise with internal team members and stakeholders, providing email, phone and in person support to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
This is a varied role which will expose you to software, hardware and network support in a retail environment so will encompass POS and CCTV software on top of a traditional office environment software / hardware set up (75 users).
Responsibilities:
Providing 1st level technical support to staff working onsite and remotely on all IT hardware and software/ application queries
Support and basic maintenance for network/ printers
Support on 365 applications
User account set up, modifications, deletions
Supporting various software packages
Laptop support, build, repair
This role sits closely with the IT Manager, giving you lots of exposure to high level projects, they have an ERP and CRM implemention lined up to start in the next few months, super interesting time to join the business.
