You will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic when it comes to managing issues, have a keenness to learn and develop, with a thorough approach to problem solving an appreciation for the various client cultures and their unique requirements. By showing intelligence and an eagerness to learn you will be given freedom to develop new skills and gain training in a wide range of cutting-edge technologies including Microsoft technologies, Firewalls  and Azure.

You will act as an onsite and offsite engineer for a set of clients and work closely with technical leads, account managers and other tech teams to deliver an IT vision which future proofs client systems. In this client-facing role you will have the opportunity to be IOIT’s ambassador and you will help develop strong relationships based on trusted professional guidance.

You will be supporting clients onsite as an IT Field Service Engineer or remotely on a regular or scheduled basis. You'll work within the main Dublin area. 

YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

· At least 5 years’ experience in IT  Technical Support or Field Service Engineer roles, ideally at an MSP

·Knowledge of Office 365; experience supporting Outlook, Active Directory, Office365 Administration, Hyper-V.

·Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11.

·Experienced in Windows Server, including Active Directory Users & Computers, DNS, Event Viewer

·Worked with office networks, switches, and WiFi

·PC & Network Technical Support

-Full Irish Driving License or legal to drive in Ireland. 

After 3 months on the job, you will be entitled to a Hybrid working with typically 2 days remote work from home and 3 days in the field visiting client sites. 

You must be fully legal to work in Ireland with the correct visa, and you must be based in Dublin.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

·Microsoft Certifications, particularly Office 365 and Windows. 
MCP or MCSA are a strong bonus to have.

Hybrid work from home available after 3 months on the job.

Client is based in North Dublin, so you must be able to reasonably get there for office days. This job is ideal is you are based in North Dublin, West Dublin, Central Dublin, Meath, Kildare or Louth. 

You must be legal to work in Ireland, with the correct visa, and you must have several years proven Field Service Engineer or IT Support experience.
