itContracting are currently seeking applicants for an IT Helpdesk Analyst. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position located with our client in Dublin.

Job Description:

We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:
Soft Skills

- Excellent customer service skills.
- A good business focus and understanding of a support role in a business environment.
- A clear customer focus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- An ability to work on one’s own initiative and manage personal objectives.
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
- An ability to work well within a team environment.

Technical Skills

- Advanced skills in the use of administration of MS Office and Windows operating systems.
- An apititude in understanding and adapting to new technology.
- The successful candidate will have a demonstratable enthusiasm for technology.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years previous experience from a similar Helpdesk environment.
- While training is provided previous experience in supporting ServiceNow, Active Directory, SAP, MS Office product suite, Cisco VPN, VMWare, Enterprise telecoms systems and/or Web Services would be beneficial.

Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

- Ensure all incidents and service requests are properly logged, updated regularly and resolved in a timely fashion. Ensure sufficient details are includuded should there be a need for escalation to other teams.
- Receive, log, distribute and follow up on all incidents / service requests escalated within IT across multiple different channels (i.e. phone, email, self-service). Troubleshoot these calls to a satisfactory resolution.
- Document or update processes with the aim of optimising the service provided.
- Administration and support of the internal processes for new hires, promotions and leavers.
- Administration and support of the mobile device fleet (iPhones and iPads).
- Administration and support of the IT security policies and procedures.
- Creation of knowledge base articles.
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers in relation to issues.
