ROLE - Service Desk Analyst
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £25,000 - £30,000

A top client of mine, based in Hertfordshire near Watford, are going through a period of business growth and have a really exciting opportunity to join them within their Service Desk team. As a Service Desk Analyst joining a close working team of 8. This opportunity is a permanent role and would really suit someone that perhaps comes from a background in the managed services arena that wants to work on internal, exciting projects for a change or even a background in telecoms could be beneficial. Although, these are not a must!

The Service Desk Analyst will ideally have the following skills/experience:

Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Good analytical skills
Knowledge of hardware, HP would be beneficial
Wintel knowledge (Windows Server 2003/16 + Windows 10)
Networking (TCP/IP, Cisco switches, etc)
Active Directory & Office 365 administration
Laptop builds
Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills
The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for:

Logging, monitoring and resolving complex IT incidents
Acting as first line escalation point for critical issues
Liaising with customers and 3rd parties
Managing calls to resolution within SLA
Assisting Infrastructure Engineers with design, install/configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, software and infrastructure
Helpdesk Support
