Technical Support Manager required for Irelands leading telecommunications company. This is a career making opportunity to lead and manage a growing team (currently 9 people) who provide advanced B2B support across all fixed line, IoT, SIM, ICT etc for high value clients.
This role may suit a Lead Engineer that wants to take his/her next step into management, or equally an established manager with advanced and current technical skills
This is a hybrid role and will require 2 day per week onsite in Limerick
Responsibilities
· Manage the support team responsible for supporting large high value clients, by integrating the ICT service model that facilitates high quality support which exceeds our customers’ expectations.
· Lead the further development of the ICT & IOT support models and consistently look at continuous improvement.
· Identify knowledge gaps in the team and ensure training (internal and external) is planned and delivered
· Foster a learning culture within the team.
· Establish a clear view of customer needs, simplifying complex issues and developing appropriate solutions for their needs.
· Ownership & development our Technical Service Desk capability to support IoT business products.
· Stakeholder communication, project teams, PMO and external partners & vendors.
· Act as technical escalation point as needed
Requirements
· Advanced technical competence across ICT, IOT, telco & mobile networks, eUICC SIM management.
· Excellent understanding of Mobile technology and trends.
· 5+ years relevant experience in a large organisation within an operational Product & Services environment.
· High Energy individual with a proven track record of operating in a dynamic, demanding & customer centric environment.
· Strong leadership, communication, and Interpersonal skills.
· Strategic Awareness, ability and influencing skills to input and where appropriate shape both the medium- and longer-term strategy of the business.
Remuneration
· 80K starting salary
· 6K car allowance
