Project Engineer

I am working with a global company to help find their next Infrastructure Project Engineer. This role is project orientated, but given the seniority required you may have to as an L3 escalation point for P1 Incidents. This role offers variety in both projects and technology along with clear career progression!

Some Responsibilities Include:

* Design, test, install and monitor new systems across multiple technologies.

* Level 3 Engineers should act as a role models within the organisation with regard to the ISMS system.Ensure the implementation is delivered through adherence to pre-agreed plans and milestones
* Defines, communicates and enforces technology standards.
* Conduct end user, and internal training sessions on relevant technologies
* Documenting and improving technical processes
* Supporting the Managed services team to troubleshoot and resolve incidents

Wish List of Experience:

* A strong knowledge of networking is required along with hands on experience solving problems with firewalls, VLANs, site to site VPNs, etc.
* An understanding of BGP, MPLS, OSPF, Azure Application Gateways and Azure Traffic Manager
* Substantial experience MS Windows Server system administration or application server support
* Several years experience with VMWare system advanced administration
* Several years' experience with Active Directory/O365 advanced administration.
* Several years' experience working in critical production environments, including Disaster Recovery support.
* Solid understanding of related Microsoft technologies - Group Policies, IIS, WSUS, Windows Failover Clustering, SQL Server, DFS, DNS, NTFS etc.
* Massive plus for any IT Certifications in Palo Alto, Azure
