Ergo are seeking an IT Helpdesk Engineer for a 12 month rolling contract with our client in Dublin city centre. The successful candidate will provide 2nd Level remote and deskside support to internal users in a Windows 10 environment.
You will join a well-established team of IT Engineers supporting a public-sector client.
What will you do:
* Provide L2 desktop and network support to local and remote users
* Provide a single point of contact for all customers for ICT related issues via multiple channels e.g. deskside, phone, voicemail, email, chat, on-line self-service ticket generation etc.
* Assist in the categorisation of all ICT related tickets (e.g. events, incidents, problems and requests) for efficient resolution and detailed reporting.
* Resolve escalated tickets as required
* Troubleshoot user issues on Remote Desktop
* Setup and troubleshooting of Video-conferencing and telephony systems
* Asset Management/Tracking/Disposal
You should have experience in some / all of the following:
* Windows 10 user support
* Microsoft Skype for Business / Teams
* Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 support
* Ticket management systems (Jitbit an advantage)
* Active Directory
* Video Conferencing
* Fixed and Mobile Telephony, iPhones, Android, and Polycom handsets
* Desk side support - PC, Printing, Network
* Networking - IP addressing and Patching
* Knowledge of ITIL an advantage
