Job Title: Technical Support Admin - Hybrid role
Contract/ Permanent: Contract - Initially 2 months contract with potential to go permanent
Location: Dublin 4/Hybrid
Overview: Ergo are a managed services company which employs over 500 staff. We provide a managed service across the whole IT spectrum and we have over 200k end users and are Ireland's largest Microsoft partner.
Ergo are currently seeking to recruit a Technical Support Admin for our client based in Dublin 4. The successful candidate will primarily provide front line support and troubleshooting for desktop / laptop hardware, software, and phones to circa 150 of our clients' users.
Main Responsibilities:
* Setup and configuration of new and rebuilt desktops and laptops
* Monitor and respond on Helpdesk tickets
* Mitel / Teams / phone support and setup
* Printing support
* Desk equipment setups and moves
* Providing desktop and laptop support
* Mitel / Teams / phone support and setup
* Smartphone configuration (Android)
* Peripheral device support
* In house training when required
Skills & Experience Required:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar technical support role
* Experience in supporting Windows 10 operating systems, Office 2016, Office 365, Android setup and peripheral support is advantageous.
* Experience with Active Directory user, group, and permission management.
* Skills using Office 2016
* The successful candidate will need excellent analytical, and problem-solving techniques.
* Experience with Printer troubleshooting.
* The successful candidate should be familiar with PC and laptop hardware and all peripherals.
* Excellent communication skills and an approachable demeanour.
* The successful candidate must have the ability to work unsupervised.
* A relevant IT qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
