The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics - all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you'll achieve
As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments
Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents
Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed
Implement Client and Server-side automations within the ServiceNow platform with scripting, including but not limited to Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Actions, Workflows, Data Policies, ACLs, etc
Implement integrations with external systems for the ServiceNow platform with scripting, including but not limited to Scripted REST API, Scheduled Jobs, ECC Queue, Event Queue,

Essential Requirements

2-5 years' experience with ServiceNow
Knowledge of programming language, ideally JavaScript (Glide), AngularJS, Jelly, HTML/CSS and XML/JSON
Demonstrate sound knowledge of ServiceNow's core architecture and primary applications modules, including but not limited to Incident, Service Catalog, Change, CMDB, KB, Self-Service, Update Sets, etc
Ability to Design and Implement custom user interface to provide general availability for internal tools with scripting, including but not limited to UI Scripts, UI Macro, UI Page and GlideAjax
Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix issues that our customers may have

Desirable Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
