Lead IT Business Relationship Consultant

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000
Location -Northern Ireland (Home based / Field based with company car)

Role

My client, One of the UK's leading companies is seeking a Lead IT Business Relationship Consultant who through close business engagement and a deep understanding of their requirements, be the link between Divisions and IT, maintaining a positive relationship and identifying the needs of both the business and IT. Partner business leaders to advise on, influence and scope business requests for IT demand, coordinating and/or channelling those requests through to the appropriate IT delivery teams in liaison with IT and business stakeholders. The aim is to achieve best value from the IT investment and deliver continually high levels of service to agreed standards

Key Responsibilities

Lead /Deliver short term / one-off business projects and activities outside of the scope of IT infrastructure delivery to the standards and outcomes agreed with the Line Manager
Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential
Establish and continually develop partnering relationships with Business Leadership Teams and the IT Division to ensure the effective delivery of the IT proposition.
Protect the reputation of IT by managing expectations, policing controls, fielding complaints, and directing them to the Service manager responsible
Provide business consultancy services to IT delivery teams, influencing priorities and solution design.
Interprets and translates organisational vision and strategy into relevant, stretching targets and actions for their team or area of responsibility.
Recognises the different ways that different people contribute to team performance. Engages, motivates and develops others to work effectively and collaboratively to achieve both results and their own potential. Acts as a role-model for others.

Key Skills and Experience required:

Experience in a commercially focused IT environment
Project/Workstream lead experience an advantage
Experience in stakeholder management
Knowledge of IT services and businesses/ commercial awareness.
Qualified to degree level or equivalent, or equivalent industry experiencePlease apply ASAP to be considered
