The business is supported by production facilities in Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the US and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

The Operational Excellence Manager will apply project management techniques in driving a structured approach to optimise site process improvements for increased productivity, quality & reduce waste. The role will identify and drive operational process improvement initiatives in line with best practice Operational Excellence methodologies

Job Summary:

The ICT Support Technician will play a key role in the ongoing support of the IT environment at the manufacturing facility in Mitchelstown in Co Cork. Working alongside the site management team, you will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and technical skills to react to user needs and ensure business continuity.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Manage incidents, problems and requests raised by end users, logging all activity in the service management system.
Troubleshoot issues with users to resolve technical faults, and where necessary provide training advice.
Support ICT connectivity to machinery and equipment installed in the factory
Setting up new equipment and upgrading existing systems in line with corporate ICT standard.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, and telephony.
To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems, MS Office etc. across a range of software applications.
Setting up new-user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
Execute user's joiner and leaver process
Ensure factory shop floor data capture and automation systems are maintained accordingly.
Training users on new systems, face-to-face and online.
Support the roll-out of new applications.
Support Skype for Business or Teams communication system
Ensure full compliance with technical and food hygiene standards to ensure product meets all appropriate quality and safety standards

Key Requirements & competencies:

Educated to a degree level preferable or proven / relevant IT experience required.
Experience of supporting automation and manufacturing factory shop floor data capture systems is highly preferable.
Knowledge of ITIL or other service management governance frameworks.
Minimum of 3 years' experience of working in an IT support / customer facing role.
