Senior Administrator
My client a global leader within the financial industry working in private funds and investment banking are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join their growing team. You will be a core member of the Virtual desktop infrastructure team and you will work to ensure my clients customers maintain access to critical information while keeping my client ahead of industry trends

Responsibilities
• Build and maintain Windows 10 VDI images
• You will maintain VMware Horizon solution on cloud and on-prem
• You will support Azure Virtual Desktop solutions
• Package applications into AppStacks
• Provide Level 3 support for Windows 10 non-persistent/floating VDI and Multi-session desktops
• You will monitor VDI infrastructure via VMware and in house tools
• You will also monitor Service Desk queues and comply with quality guidelines when managing incidents.
• You will 8x5 operational support. Promptly respond to telephone call, voice-mail and emails.
• Participate in weekend on-call schedule (On-call Bonus)
• Resolve and document system errors and performance issues
• Perform root cause analysis of critical errors and outages

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in VMware Horizon VDI solutions
• Have Experience Deploying, Managing, Monitoring and Troubleshooting VDI environments
• Have Experience in VMware Horizon Cloud
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure public cloud
• Experience in any of the following, or similar, would be a plus:
• Microsoft Windows 10 multi session
• Microsoft FSLogix
• Azure Virtual Desktop
• PowerShell scripting
• ThinPrint
• Linux knowledge
