The role of the Programmatic Ad Operations Lead is to ensure that Mediahuis continues to efficiently and effectively serve the needs of our audiences to generate revenue growth through the deployment of existing and new offerings. In particular, the role will be responsible for the business delivery of new Digital projects, ensuring alignment with digital strategy and commercial imperatives.
The programmatic and ad operations team is an integral part of the integrated performance and commercial team and works to execute strategies for clients. Our clients rely on the performance teams for cutting edge strategy and implementations. We work with global clients who are looking to grow their performance media budgets and success.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with programmatic media buying or ad operations. The Programmatic Ad Operations Lead will report to the Head of Ad Operations and Programmatic.
Role Responsibilities (Overview)
Making Mediahuis inventory available via programmatic platforms
Develop business roadmaps across Digital to ensure appropriate prioritisation of resources to deliver agreed short term and longer-term objectives
Execute programmatic strategy
Develop relationships with key Industry stakeholders, partners and suppliers to ensure commercial objectives are met, service levels are adhered to and risks are adequately managed
Setting up deal IDs within the different SSPs (Display/Video/Audio)
Lead the transformation of business processes and organisational structures to further improve the operational efficiencies across the Digital functional areas
Provide advice and insights internally and externally + training
SPOC programmatic issues from the Trading Desks
Maintaining and implementing the latest in ad tech
Generate / increase programmatic revenue
Project lead for Programmatic
Monthly reporting agencies / advertisers
Experience & Qualifications (Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge)
3-5 years' experience working across operational, commercial and product functions within a digital B2C enterprise.
Appropriate third-level qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or similar with demonstrable relevance to this role.
Have demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial drive and capability to deliver strategic initiatives within a digital media organisation
Proven ability to provide leadership in an environment of constant change and have been deeply involved in driving organisational transformation
A proven track record of delivering incremental business value by creating and delivering new products, pricing models, commercial and distribution models
Very strong organisational, planning and resource management competencies having
