Principal Scala Developer

Dublin OR Fully Remote

€110K - €120K p/a + bonus, healthcare, stock etc

Stack - Scala; ZIO; AWS Ecosystem; Kafka; Akka

We're looking for a Principal Software Engineer (permanent) to join a multinational in Dublin.. with the option to work remotely from within, or in some cases outside of Ireland (depending on the country).

This is a big hire for the team, it would suit someone with ambitions to lead engineers, work alongside the senior tech function and help make important architectural decisions. We need an experienced functional programmer, ideally someone who has been working with Scala. You can expect lots of work on Data Pipelines using Scala, building APIs and helping deploy on AWS.

Experience:

* 6+ years' experience as a software developer.
* Functional experience, ideally Scala.
* AWS experience.
* Distributed systems experience.
* Strong leadership skills.
