Senior/Lead Java Developer - Learn Cybersecurity - Dublin

Our client is an innovative product software company who have developed award winning advanced Cybersecurity products which are used by major companies globally. These products which protect against malicious cyber attacks are continually being innovated therefore providing ongoing new build & greenfield software projects for you.
Currently our client requires a strong Backend Senior Java Developer or Tech Lead Java Developer to work on new platform & new Cybersecurity features.
The good news is that you will be able to learn Cybersecurity on the job, gaining an invaluable experience set.
You will work as part of a small team of highly skilled Java Engineers, working closely with the Engineering Director & CTO. This will give you exposure to all project aspects,interesting variety, & independence in your work.
Your ideas & innovations are welcomed, your contributions will be recognised & you will be proactively encouraged to contribute.

Key experience & skills for the Senior or Lead Java Developer:
Strong backend orientated Java engineering experience.
Your Java experience must be deep & you have knowledge of Java libraries.
JVM Java Virtual Machine architecture.
Databases NoSQL and relational.
You must have a strong interest in learning Cybersecurity.
Bonus points if you have knowledge of Cryptography.
You must at least be a Senior Java Developer, however if you are ready to step up a notch to a Technical Lead role this opportunity can facilitate that for you too. You will have a proven technical career pathway in this role, where you can step up to Architect, then to Principal Engineer over a reasonable period of time.

The client is based in Dublin City Centre, they operate a hybrid remote work from home with typically 2 days in office, 2 day WFH.
