Support, configure and install a network, security devices, and systems.
Maintain and improve documentation of the client's environment.
Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
Work within change management policies to ensure the success of changes
Implement network and security tools, policies, and procedures as appropriate
Work as part of a project team from design, and configuration, to implementation and testing.
Technical Skills And Experience
Windows Desktop 10 & Server
Windows server services - Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WSUS, IIS Certificate Services
General Network support in LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
Network Architecture design experience would be beneficial.
VMware - VCenter, VSphere, etc.
Storage technologies Veeam, commvault etc
System Analysis, troubleshooting & Testing Education & Training
Third Level IT-related or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Information Technology Industry certification is a distinct advantage e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Symantec, VMware, etc.
ITIL Foundation knowledge.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in managing local projects and/or being part of a project team.
Decisive, dynamic, and capable of delivering to a high standard level of support, able to work with/under any constraints that may be in place.
Conscientious, trustworthy, and capable of organizing and delivering on tasks with little direction.
Strong troubleshooting and communications skills are an absolute necessity
Capable of adjusting their approach for the varied customers supported
Process-oriented with great attention to detail.
