itContracting are seeking applications for a Desktop Support Engineer, this is a long-term day rate contract located in Athenry, Co. Galway.
 
Requirements

- Relevant experience in an IT support role
- The ability to prioritise and manage work in a dynamic and pressurised environment
- Excellent judgement, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- A full driver's licence and have access to transport as the role entails travel throughout Galway and Roscommon

 Job Description
 
The appointee will report to the IT Service Delivery Lead and will be delegated functions as determined by IT Service Delivery Lead/Head of IT.

- Provide technical support and instruction, and perform systems maintenance
- Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory
- Support external managed service providers
- Assist with technology procurement, installation, configuration, and support
- Troubleshoot systems to determine technical issues
- Maintain technology applications, networks, and systems
- Carry out projects or activities as may be assigned from time to time by the IT Service Delivery Lead/Head of IT

 
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply.
