Responsibilities

The Junior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the maintenance and development of both our in-house and clients’ applications. This role will be based in our head office in Cherrywood Dublin.

Tasks will involve:

- Joining small team of technology and success-oriented people working in an agile environment
- You will be supporting the company product development strategy
- Designing, creating, and improving existing web applications and usability of the controls within application.
- Direct access to product owner with recurrent design and target meetings
- Expected to share knowledge as well as learn new skills as part of a cross functional team
- Hands on exposure to new technologies and software techniques
- Be able to take part in decision making process around application development

The Candidate

- At least 2 years’ experience working on application development or similar role.
- An organised approach to development engagements
- Some experience creating and delivering presentations around tech solutions, designs
- Preferable a technical background with basic knowledge of enterprise cloud services
- Ability to take ownership of issues, delegate appropriately and follow through to resolution
- Interested in emerging technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, etc.) 

Skills and experience

Preferred:

- Knowledge of C#, .Net platform (4.5 and later) and Microsoft technology stack.
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM
- Good understanding of the HTTP protocol, XHR and RESTful web services
- XML and JSON data representation
- Good understanding and implementation of SOLID Principles
- Modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., OO).
- Translate requirements into functional code/prototypes
- Comfortable with Source Control Systems (GIT, TortoiseSVN, etc.)
- Good interpersonal skills for communicating with clients, project stakeholders and development teams
- A strong ability to communicate ideas and solutions in a succinct and accessible way
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Advantageous:

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure platform from an app development perspective
- Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Package Manager (NuGet packages)
- Good understanding of modern front-end stacks (Node.js, React, Angular, etc.)
- Experience with responsive web design including knowledge of user experience, bootstrap, LESS, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Knockout.js
- Creating robust, flexible, and reusable web controls in MVC and ASPX technologies
- Have good understanding of databases, SQL Server in particular, and data
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development using UiPath/Blue Prism/Automate Anywhere
- Android mobile app development
- Ability to write test scripts/code against custom API framework
- Be able to create fast UI prototypes/mock-ups using selected tools
- Understanding cross browser testing requirements
- Ability to understand & create clean code, knowledge of good practices and experience with software design patterns
- Experience with designing and generating reports
- Understanding how different Authentication methods work
