DevOps Engineer (100% Remote Company)

I'm working in partnership with a hugely exciting start-up company looking to expand their engineering team. The most urgent hire is for an experienced DevOps Engineer to look after all of their deployments and help to improve the security of their environment.

With the company being still quite small, it's important that this hire has experience of working in either a start-up or the type of environment where they had a wide array of duties. It's important you're comfortable with a broad role and have the confidence to work off your own initiative. The role is a mid-level position so there will be senior engineers and architects to help guide you, but being able to run with projects yourself is very important.

Desired Technical Experience:

* 2-3 years hands-on DevOps Engineering experience
* Strong Linux skills
* Gitlab
* Kubernetes
* Jenkins
* Security (firewalls, penetration testing etc)
* Some Java development skills would be a real bonus
