Irish Wheelchair Association - Reporting to the Information Security Architect, this role is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of IWA IT infrastructure, identification of cyber security risk and implementation of corrective actions with our employees, Quality, and ICT team. This role will be integral to the implementation of our Cyber Security Programme of Work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation of a series of projects within our cyber security programme of work.
Monitoring on-premise and cloud solutions and ensuring that corrective actions and interventions are actioned.Identifying cyber risk and mitigation actions.
Liaising with Security Operations as a Service provider/s and actioning alerts, follow up activities. Incident response.
Collaboration on the design and development of employee security awareness programmes (induction training, refresher training plus ongoing communications).
Tracking risks and corrective actions. Development of process and procedures to underpin security standards.
Cyber security champion with our internal stakeholders.
Work closely with Quality team and application of DPIA requirements.
Assessment of new technology including defining cyber security requirements for same and assessments of new applications pre go-live.
Capturing security objectives and metrics.
Identification of non-compliance to security practices and reporting of same to Information Security Architect.
Threat identification. Conducting electronic discovery and digital forensic investigations with Information Security Architect.
Training, Experience and Qualifications
Degree in business, computer science or engineering.
ISC Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) completed or work towards same within a year of taking on the role.
OR
Equivalent Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 Implementer/Lead Auditor, PCI ISA
Knowledge and Skills
Experience in an Information Technology setting.
Evidence of Security Analyst experience.
Experience with risk management and auditing, preferable.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security framework
Competencies
Excellent communications skills with the ability to communication complicated concepts to non-technology staff and management.
Good planning and organising capabilities
Experience of project management.
Good experience of being an internal consultant.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary range between €29,821 to €45,558 DOE
