Middleware Administrator

Brand new role with an established multinational based in Waterford. It's an exciting opportunity for someone at the early stage of their infrastructure career to get some fantastic experience and access to a first-class training pathway. You'll also have the benefit of being surrounded by a wider team of senior engineers that can help to mentor you as you learn the environment and pick up new tools and tech.

This role will be part of a team responsible for supporting my client's highly available intranet/internet sites to ensure the performance, availability and reliability of their systems. You'll need to perform application support and builds (Weblogic, Websphere) as well as consulting and analysis. You must be comfortable within a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a good understanding of the complex technical aspects o Web Middleware Technologies.

Desired Technical Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline
* 1-2 years Weblogic and Websphere experience
* 1-3 years experience of IIS and Apache/Tomcat experience
* 1-3 years Application Support experience
* Strong UNIX knowledge
* Exposure to Windows server admin
* Java development knowledge would be a bonus
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
